The importance of Testimonials and Reviews when choosing a Wedding Photographer in Ireland

Unless you are lucky enough to know a talented Wedding Photographer or have someone recommended to you, then like most people, you will be faced with researching who to hire for your Big Day.
And it is fair to say, that it is quite a large scale of quality, from high to low, to have to choose from. So, where to start?
The place to start for every Wedding Photographer you look at, MUST be what real-life Couples think about the service that they received from them.
And that means the Testimonial or Reviews section of their website.
And a recommendation from me, would always look for patterns in the clients' testimonials, regarding the Wedding Photographer's style, personality and all round quality. That is when you start to be able to work out if that person is who you are looking for.
Some couples want a fun, sociable, creative but discreet person (which is certainly my style), others want a quiet, unassuming person to blend into the background - both are fine, as it's YOUR choice).
But it is only when you read and hear what previous clients have put on record, when you can work out who the Photographer is and what people think of their talent.
